9.15am to 3.00pm Mon to Thu and 9.15am to 2.30pm Fri. £7 per hour
This is a responsible position as the first point of contact by phone or face to face.
The requirements of a small company environment for assisting with all aspects of the office administration provide the opportunity to gain valuable experience in such areas as:
1. Determining customers' needs and ascertaining which department they require, via phone, fax or face to face.
2. Communicating via fax, email, post, telephone and face to face
3. Sending out customer sample and literature requests.
4. Generally assisting the administration of each Department, under the direction of the Sales Office Manager.
5. Raising purchase orders, progress, booking in of purchase orders.
6. Franking machine, posting and crediting
A sound education should include at least GCSE pass level English and Maths. A commitment to learning and attention to detail is a must have. Sound working knowledge of Windows XP and MS Office – Word/Excel 2003.
